I am new to this world but Im trying to fit out my 2023 Honda Odyssey Elite to tow a pop up camper. I ordered the hitch from etrailer, but was hoping you can help me figure out what else I need. The pop ups Im looking at have brakes so I think I need a 7 pin connector and brake controller but Im really not sure. Id appreciate any help you can provide.

Hey Lucas, welcome to the world of towing. To add a 7-Way connector and brake controller to your 2023 Honda Odyssey Elite, you'll need the following parts:
4-Way Connector - Curt T-Connector item # C56382
and
7-Way Connector - Curt Trailer Connector Adapter item # C57672
Wiring and Circuit Breakers - Wiring Kit for Electric Trailer Brake Controllers item # 5506
Brake Controller and Wiring Harness - Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty item # RED52VR

I installed a 4-pole connected on my 2024 Odyssey. Between the instructions and a video on how to install, it was very easy. i connect to a small boat and have had no problems with the connection to the boat. When not using the wiring, I can hide it in the covered electrical panel that is in the cargo section of the van where I cannot accidentally pull it out from the panel.
