Does Front Plastic Valance Get Removed to Install Curt Front Hitch # 33055

Is it necessary for the plastic sheild to be removed for installation. This sheild protects the undercarriage of the front of engine. It appears hitch maybe installed without removing it. Thanks jim

Hey Jim, I checked the install instructions for the Curt hitch part # 33055 and they state that if a front plastic valance is present it will need to get removed. Sounds like that is what you are referring to and it would need to get removed.

It says in the video to enlarge or Redhill the front hole. To what diameter 1/2 in or 5/8. Thanks

@Jim Instructions say to enlarge the hole to 17/32 inch.
