Does Wheel Masters 4-Hose Kit WM8001 Affect Tire Balance?

Greetings, Will the WM8001 kit installed on a 16inch dual setup affect the wheel balance?

The Wheel Masters Hoses # WM8001 will add a tiny bit of weight to the wheel, but no, it will not affect your tire balance.

How are you checking your inner tire pressure right now?

I’ve had these hose kits on two different DRW pickups and one diesel pusher MH. No balance issues on any of those tires that I can tell.

I had the same concern before installing my kit. I did my best to mount the extensions opposite from one another to minimize this.

No issue with wheel balance but have had issues with the hoses leaking air. I called eTrailer when a hose leaked (I have a video of it leaking), they said to contact the manufacturer, which I did and they replaced the hose. Then it happened again and the manufacturer would not return my call for a replacement. eTrailer called them and they sent a replacement but said no more replacements would be coming as though it were my problem the product was defective. Everything is working now but I would recommend finding a manufacturer who stood behind their product.

@Yancy Sorry to hear you had an issue with the product. Hopefully the new one you were sent holds up better.

I installed these on my class C MH a year ago and just made sure that I off set them on the back tires. I have had no issues with balance. They are so much easier to check and fill now.
