Hey Daniel thanks for the information! To upgrade your Lippert 129745 2,200 lbs leaf spring for a 4,400 lbs axle, I recommend the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring item # TRU25FR.
The 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring item # TRU25FR is the same length at 25-1/4" long from the center of the mounting bolts. It's also a 4-leaf spring that's 1-3/4" and sold individually. It has a bit higher capacity though at 2,500 lbs. This will give you a slight upgrade that won't make your suspension stiff or uncomfortable.
When you swap out your leaf springs, you'll also want to switch out your hardware as those wet bolts are only meant to be torqued down once. You'll want to pick a kit with the closest size to your current shackle straps.
The MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers item # MR46ZR is for 2-1/4" shackles or item # MR76ZR is for 3-1/8" shackles. These kits come with the bronze bushings, wet bolts and shackle straps.
What issues are you running into that has you looking to upgrade to higher rated leaf springs?
