Long trips and rough pavement can beat up trailers fast. This 4-leaf double-eye spring flexes to absorb bumps and jolts, keeping the ride smoother and more controlled. Each of the four leaves shares the load evenly, reducing bounce and sway so the trailer tracks straight behind you. With a 25-1/4"" eye-to-eye length and 1-3/4"" width, it’s built to deliver steady suspension performance for a 5,000-lb axle.
When your suspension carries weight day in and day out, strength matters. This spring has a 2,500-lb capacity per side, giving a pair the right support for a 5,000-lb axle setup. The solid steel construction and 1/4""-thick leaves handle demanding use while keeping each side of the trailer level and stable.
Rust is the enemy of suspension parts, especially around water. The sturdy steel spring is finished with a powder coat that stands up well to moisture and salt, making it ideal for marine applications or damp environments. It helps keep the steel protected so the spring flexes freely and lasts longer.
Installation is straightforward thanks to the pre-installed nylon bushings with 9/16"" inner diameter. The double-eye setup connects to your hangers and shackle straps with common suspension bolts. Each eye measures 11/16"" without the bushing so replacement parts fit cleanly when it’s time for service.
A good suspension setup keeps the trailer level and reduces wear on every component. Pairing two of these leaf springs ensures even height and alignment, preventing premature sag and uneven tire wear. It’s a solid, dependable upgrade that brings back the smooth and steady feel of a fresh suspension.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this 4-leaf double-eye spring for your 5,000 pound trailer axle. Now, this double-eye leaf spring acts as part of your trailer suspension by providing an attachment point for your 5,000 pound trailer axle. This is made from a sturdy steel construction and it is designed to flex to absorb road shock and provide a smooth ride. It's gonna help reduce wear and tear on your trailer and it's going to ensure a level ride on bumpy and uneven surfaces. Now, as you probably know, double-eye leaf spring's attached to hangers that are welded onto your trailer.
One end of the spring will attach directly to the hanger with the suspension bolt. The other end will attach to shackle straps that are suspended from a hanger, and these straps are going to allow the spring to move and pivot so that it can better compensate for uneven pavement. If you have a tandem or a triple axle trailer, the shackle straps will be attached to equalizers that connects multiple springs. Now, if you're in need of hangers, suspension bolts, or equalizers, you can find all of that here at etrailer.com. In the eyes on each end are pre-installed nylon bushings.
The eye diameter with the bushing is 9/16 of an inch. Without the bushing, it's 11/16 of an inch. And again, this is going to be a 4-leaf spring as you can see here. And the leaf thickness is 1/4 of an inch. Each spring is rated at 2,500 pounds capacity.
So that means if you install a pair of these springs, one on each side, that's where you're gonna get your 5,000 pound trailer weight support. To ensure proper axle alignment and suspension performance, leaf springs should always be replaced in pairs and we do recommend installation by a professional. Taking a look at the length here, measuring center of eye to center of eye, as I hope you can see, we're at 25 1/4 inches on center and the width of the spring, 1 3/4 inches. But if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this spring or any of the other items that we carry here at etrailer.com, don't hesitate to reach out to us 'cause we do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. Well again, my name is Andy.

Easy to say, but the product itself is high-quality steel, and what can I say about the staff who guided me through my order. They were perfect.
Looks of good quality leaf spring.
Bought (4) 7K leaf springs and 3 fit like a glove, however the 4th was slightly twisted and needed the help of ratchet straps to make the fit. I haven't driven it yet. Would have given a five star except for the one. Service deserved a 10 star rating.
Received Exactly what I ordered, Super Fast Shipping. Great Prices Thank You
Perfect fit. Take your time during installation, measure correctly and everything will fall into place.
I used these as an upgrade to my stock sagging springs. Going from 1750lb to these 2000lb springs lifted the trailer roughly 1 inch which was perfect as I'm often offroad
Great customer service quick shipping t ime.
3 springs that are correct are fine. The 4 spring is the wrong spring, sent a 4 leaf instead of a 7 leaf, still waiting on the correct replacement.
Would be five stars if they came with bronze bushings
Shipping was pretty fast. Springs look good. Putting them on the trailer later today. Thank you!
Nice price. Quick delivery. Product was a perfect fit. I’m very happy and will return for my trailer parts.
Haven't installed as of yet but the customer service was excellent Fast shipping and good company follow up. Carter put all my questions and research at ease
I had called other suppliers, not answering phone or had no clue / answers to my questions
Haven’t had a chance to install them yet, I do believe they will work good. Replacing flattened old #3500 leafs with these for a single axel travel trailer.
The paint/coating on the springs looks awful, hopefully the metallurgy is better. Also, the leafs are shorter than the OEM Dexter spring that it replaces.
The leaf spring showed up onto the campground a day earlier than expected! Great job getting us our part so we could enjoy our vacation!
Huge difference from 4 leaf to 5 leaf on my tandem 5200lb axles
These were the perfect replacement for the springs on my 10 year old Keystone Fuzion 414. They arrived in perfect condition and I was able to do the install myself. It took the entire day because I had never done it before but in the end, I'me very happy witht he outcome.
New springs eliminated the annoying trailer squeaking noise. Very Pleased five star rating
Perfect replacement for my stock Dexter Springs.
Also installed the Dexter EZ Flex Equilizer with Wet Bolt Kit.
Broken leaf spring): Ordered the leaf spring late Friday afternoon California time zone. (We travel full time). Most impressed, order was processed Friday night by E-Trailer, with two day delivery. Of coarse it was the weekend, part was picked up Monday morning in Missouri and I had it in my hands by 11:30am Tuesday. I could track the order easily with the link E-trailer provided. We were near Redcrest California, which is not a big town at all, about 50 miles south of Eureka CA.(no parts of this kind in the area). And the best part of all--the part fit perfectly! E-trailers website is very user friendly for getting the right part, the first time!!
The brass bushings should not have to be pounded in and then the bolt through the bushings because the bushings oblong them selves because the springs are not straight.
Will was a great help getting me my par ts!
