Suspension Enhancement for 2026 Toyota Sienna Woodland AWD

Updated 05/16/2026 | Published 05/14/2026

Question:

I have a 2026 Toyota Sienna Woodland Edition. It is AWD. I know that some of these sumo springs are only able to be used if the vehicle is FWD. Am I able to install these on my vehicle? I’m towing a ~2000 pound trailer and want to install something like this to give my rear suspension a little bit of assistance.

Hey Steve! We have never officially confirmed the Coil SumoSprings will fit the AWD model. They probably do, I just can't say for sure. What I would do is get the Timbren SES # T58GR instead. These are confirmed to fit and will have the same level of performance. They also have the same satisfaction guarantee and lifetime warranty, and at least for right now you'll save a little money.

What kind of trailer are you towing?

@Robin - I’ll look into those. We are towing a 2022 Happier Camper HC1. It’s about 1500 lbs. Just trying to reduce a little bit of the load on the rear suspension since it doesn’t have much clearance. The Timbren ones are rubber, right? Will they be more rigid than these?

@SteveW the # T58GR are rubber, yes. If we were talking about their standard bump stop designs I would say the Timbren would be more rigid and there would be a noticeable difference compared to SumoSprings. Because these are both coil spring inserts, I'm willing to bet if you ran a blind test with each you wouldn't be able to tell a difference between the two on your Sienna.
