Do You Carry a Replacement Switch for You etrailer Jacks, What if Mine Goes Out?

Updated 12/03/2025 | Published 04/15/2025

Question:

how hard is it to get parts for this say the switch goes out also, how hard is it to work on said switch? My current jack barely has enough slack to move the cover out of the way, much less work on the dumb thing.

Hello Brian,

Thank you for reaching out. While we don't offer a replacement switch for our etrailer Electric Trailer Jack - A-Frame - 18" Lift - 5,000 lbs # e55ZV, there's some good news: this jack comes with a 2 year warranty. That means if the switch were to go out in those 2years, it would be covered, because we truly stand behind the quality of our product.

What kind of trailer are you putting this on?

@BrianC That’s a nice travel trailer! I see the tongue weight is usually under 700 lbs, so you could actually go with our etrailer Electric Trailer Jack - A-Frame - 18" Lift - 3,500 lbs, part # e23ZV, since trailer jacks are rated based on tongue weight. The # e23ZV also moves up and down a little quicker than the 5,000 lb version.

@WesS Hello Wes, my apologies, the answer you were reading was written when the jack fist came out, it has since changed to a 2 year warranty. If there is a manufacturer defect within the first 2 years it will be covered. Did you already purchase the jack, or looking to purchase it?

@KateF now I’m really confused. The online chat guy told me 12/01/2025 the jack was limited lifetime warranty!! There must be some confusion I wish I knew 100% what the warranty is and would be

@@wess I am very sorry for the confusion, our jack # e55ZV has a 2 year warranty. It is listed on the product page under "Specs." The jack with the longest warranty is going to be Ultra Fab with a 5 years, the Ultra-Fab Electric A-Frame Jack w/ 2-1/4" Tubing - Drop Leg - 22-1/2" Lift - 4,000 lbs # UF38-944014 would be a great alternative to our 5K jack. I was able to find your chat, and will be reaching out to Ryan to correct this, once again my apologies. What kind of trailer is this going on?
