What Is the Measurement of the Bolt Holes on the SeaFlo Battery Disconnect?

Updated 05/12/2026 | Published 05/09/2026

Question:

What is the distance between the bolt/screw holes on the housing? Is the orientation of the terminals horizontal or vertical? I am replacing the battery disconnect on my 2022 GeoPro 19fd. I’m not sure of the brand - maybe SCI. It is rated for 300A continuous, 600A intermittent, and 1000A cranking. It still works, but the housing has broken at the mounting holes. I would like to place the new disconnect in the same holes, so that I don’t have to do any rewiring. I will also be switching to a 200Ah lithium battery. Will this new disconnect handle this increase in amperage and a 200W solar panel, and 1000W inverter?

Hi Tim,

The SeaFlo Battery Disconnect Switch for Boats and RVs part # SE29VR measures 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" from center bolt hole to center bolt hole. If your current switch mounts at those same measurements, you shouldn't need to make any adjustments. The terminals on the SeaFlo Battery Disconnect Switch are oriented vertically, but the switch can be installed in whatever orientation works for your application.

Switching to a 200Ah battery will be no problem for the disconnect switch to handle. It's rated for 300 amps of continuous duty like your current system and won't be affected by your new battery or solar system in general. I do recommend using a meter to measure the amperage in your system to make sure you're not exceeding the switch's ratings.
