Received order as placed & quick. Quality looks top notch & I anticipate my DYI project to update my camper to lithium battery with all associated parts will go well now.
Nice simple battery disconnect switch.
Haven't been able to get this installed yet. It does appear to be well built.
Easy to install and feels solid and well built.
Very good product!
Easy install!
Works as described. Used to disconnect battery in camper which had enough current draw to discharge battery in a week or two during storage. I have ordered many items over several years from trailer. I appreciate their quick service and expertise.
The product appears to be well-constructed. Etrailer's ordering and shipping were fast and easy. I do wish the mounting hardware would have been included.
Good quality switch. As advertised.
This battery disconnect was just what I was looking for. I mounted to the trailer frame with some - #10 bolts and 3x strength velcro. Then clipped the existing + battery wire and added some ring terminals to fit the disconnect's studs. Works like a charm. Seems like a solid unit.
fast service!!
Works great
Great disconnect!
Pleasantly surprised, better quality than I thought it would be, installed super easy.
Quality item. Quick delivery. Worked out great. I just attached it to the side of the battery box.
These are great disconnects
Fixed the snapped-off disconnect perfectly and is well-made. Makes a solid ‘click’ when connecting/disconnecting
I like it. Problem is there is not mounting hardware. Now I have to source screws and fasteners
This battery disconnect switch is of good quality and works as designed. The dimensions were as advertised. I recently installed it on my 2022 Gulfstream travel trailer inside the trailer's cargo area. I mounted it to a vertical wooden support post. I function tested it at least 10-15 times and it performed without any issues. You cant go wrong with this particular switch or etrailer. I highly recommend both!

A year later and the Seaflo battery disconnect switch is working as designed without fail. It is a sturdy and well built product that I would highly recommend to others.
Exactly what I needed. Amy J was very helpful with finding what I needed and sending the part out in a timely manner. Easy install. We are currently enjoying our travel trailer at fort wilderness due the fast shipping.
I haven't had it for long. It functions to connect and disconnect the battery from the trailer circuits. It looks like a high quality product. the finish is good the labeling is good. My only criticism is that it is difficult to separate the switch from the mounting body. It almost requires a third opposable thumb.
I would recommend these. This is my second one and I use them as winch switches to eliminate any electrical trickle.
These are not for the RV or boat, but for the inverter backup system at my house. They will select the battery to power the inverter. They work great and are high quality. I can recommend them.

That's a pretty awesome idea, Glenn! Just because its labeled for RV doesn't mean that it's only for RV. Thanks for sharing how you used them!
Pulled 130 amps through the switch to a 2000 watt inverter running a convection oven in my RV. 1/0 cable, hydraulic crimped copper lugs. Switch terminals got too hot to touch. Actually softened to plastic case enough that the terminals would move. Removed the switch. Don't need a fire.

That definitely sounds concerning, and we’re glad you played it safe and removed it. Based on what you described, it sounds like the switch was being used in a pretty demanding application. While this switch is rated up to 900 amps, that number refers to momentary load, with a 300 amp continuous rating. Running a 2000W inverter especially with a high-draw appliance like a convection oven can create not just steady current, but also startup surges and sustained high loads that are tougher on components than typical battery disconnect use. In real-world conditions, even small factors like slight resistance at the terminals or heat buildup over time can lead to the kind of overheating you experienced. Once heat starts building, it can soften the housing and affect the connection, which sounds like what happened here. For setups like yours, a heavier-duty disconnect switch designed specifically for high continuous inverter loads is usually the better fit. Were you able to find another disconnect switch? We really appreciate you sharing your experience it’s helpful insight for others running similar high-power setups.
I am surprised that the mounting screws aren't in the package

I have been using the seaflow battery switch on a 12 V lithium iron phosphate battery 300 amp hour for a little bit over a year now and it has been flawless, it works great. It was easy to install, it does everything I expected a switch to do. I would recommend it to anybody looking for a disconnect switch for their batteries.

The battery disconnect is still in service and operating well. The only issue is due to operator error e.g., one needs to remember to actually twist the dial if you want the battery disconnected. I hang my head in shame... :
