What heat strip kit goes with this unit? Does the tstat have to be wired to unit? Does the unit require 12volts from tge camper

Hey Matthew welcome back! I just spoke with ASA and their Electric Heat Strip for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners item # ADV34QR is the correct one for the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System item # ADV99QR.
The Electric Heat Strip item # ADV34QR is designed for the newer R32 refrigerant ACs. It'll plug directly into the control board on the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System item # ADV99QR. You'll be able to control it through the included thermostat. The heat strip will be powered directly by the control board built into the air distribution box.
The power to the thermostat is delivered to through a wiring harness that connects it to the air conditioner's control box in the ceiling assembly.
