does the ac unit include the outside and the inside part, dont need the thermostat

Hey Lee, thanks for reaching out. The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System # ADV99QR includes the rooftop unit, distribution box and thermostat. You'll need all 3 pieces if you are upgrading from an old AC system. Reason being these new units use a new R32 refrigerant type and they aren't backwards compatible with old R410a refrigerant systems. So, if your old AC unit was made prior to 2025, you'll need the new thermostat. This is the only way to guarantee the thermostat will properly communicate with the AC unit and everything will work together correctly.
