Yes, this is the correct fit for your 2017 Forest River Hemisphere 368RLBHK. Your RV uses the standard 14 1/4 inch by 14 1/4 inch roof opening, so the new unit will fit without any modifications to the roof. Since you're replacing an older factory air conditioner, you will need to replace the complete system because the newer Advent Air units use R32 refrigerant, which isn't compatible with the older components.

If your living room air conditioner is tied into your RV's ductwork, the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System, part # ADV99QR, is the one I'd go with. This is the whole system and will come with everything you need for a ducted system. One feature I really like on the ducted system is Flash Freeze Technology, which sends a strong blast of cool air straight down when you first turn it on so the living area starts cooling off much faster.

If it blows air directly into the room through a ceiling assembly and isn't connected to ducts, then you'll want part # ADV39QR instead. Since the cool air comes directly from the ceiling assembly instead of traveling through ductwork, you get adjustable front and rear louvers that let you direct the airflow where you want it.

I also think it's worth adding the SoftStartRV Soft Start, part # SSR54FR. It helps the air conditioner start much easier by reducing the big power surge when the compressor kicks on. That's especially nice if you ever run your RV on a generator. It also makes the startup a little smoother and quieter. I'll be honest, they do tend to be a little louder than some of the premium brands while they're running, but they cool well, are dependable, and it's hard to beat what you get for the price which is why I always recommend to add the soft start.
