Question:
Is this bar the Acclaim? And will it fit the Demco base plate I just bought from you

Hi Kirk; the # BX4330 is the Blue Ox Acclaim. This fits base plates with tabs spaced 23" - 30" apart. The etrailer # e98948 you got has 19-1/2" spacing so the two are not compatible. I would stick with a hitch mounted tow bar like the etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e34ZR with a built-in rise/drop if possible.
What kind of setup do you have?

KIRK, My wife and I are on our 5th RV. Etrailer has been with us over the years. Yes we purchased the non-binding tow bar. I had an old tow bar, but it took two of us to hook-up. Now with the new tow bar i can hook up by myself, and un-hook in a breeze. it is very flex able, and very sturdy. I had a different set up on our car, and etrailer had a great adapter which made it easy to hook-up the non-binding tow bar for our 2" ball. good luck. Gary
