Question:

I got this for free for my 2014 Ford F150 but Im not sure what mounting brackets I need and if there is a replacement bar for the bottom it almost looks like it was cut off. Is that a huge deal? This is my first truck and wanted it to look nice, but not sure what brackets I need to purchase and if the missing bar is a big deal and if it was replaceable either with a bar or a tray?

Hey Michelle, thanks for reaching out. That is definitely a Westin HDX grille guard but it looks like someone removed part of it. its missing the lower crossmember. That crossmember isn't a part of the mounting, but it is part of the structure so it might not be as sturdy as usual and it isn't going to guard the bumper as well. Not sure why someone would remove that but that might have been why it was free lol.

You might be able to mount this up to your truck but it's not something I can say for sure. These grille guards are not universal so without knowing the model number or what truck it was originally fitted for its hard to say. I can provide a Westin HDX mounting kit for a 2014 F-150, but there is no guarantee the brackets will line up with the grille guard, or that the grill guard will line up with your truck.

For the 2014 F-150, the mounting kit we offer is part # 57-250PK. This is only for the Westin HDX grille guards 57-2500 and 57-2505 though, so there is no guarantee this will line up or work with what you have.

If you want a guaranteed fit, you'll need to get the grill guard specifically made and fitted for your truck which is the following:
