The difference is the size of the threads. The Camco RV Water Heater Temperature # CAM10423 has 1/2 inch diameter valve size and the # CAM10473 has 3/4 inch diameter valve size.

On the Camco RV Water Heater Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve #CAM10423 the threaded part with the probe is 1/2 inch inner diameter. The similar #CAM10473 is 3/4 inches. Based on your picture you need the 1/2 inch model #CAM10423.
