Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real brief look at this Camco RV water temperature and pressure relief valve. This 3/4 of an inch temperature and pressure relief valve is going to help protect your RV's water heater from excessive temperature and water pressure. This four inch long epoxy coated metal probe is going to resist corrosion. This is handcrafted without gaskets and factory set at 150 PSI.
And let me retrieve my ruler here and just give you some overall measurements just so you have a good idea of the size. So looking at the overall height, we're sitting pretty close to 6-1/4 inches it looks like. And then the overall width here at the widest point, lining that up here, we're sitting right at about 1-3/4 it looks like. Well, that's gonna wrap up our brief look today. Looks like a great part for the job!
I ordered this replacement relief valve here, as it is short, which should fit the small space in my trailer water heater. I haven't yet installed it, but I expect no problems, which is why I went with 5 stars rather than 4
Service and delivery were great, as it has been every time I've ordered from etrailer.
RV water heater relief valves are located in difficult places to access so special tools are sometimes required. With the right wrench, removal of the old valve and installation of the new valve takes about 15 minutes. The Camco valve is much smoother operating mechanism that the original allowing positive shut off.
