Will Furrion 7-Way Adapter FR87PR Fix Bulb Out Error Code of 2025 GMC Sierra 2500

Question:
Will this adapter also fix the “bulb out” issue with trailer LED lights? 2025 Sierra 2500. I’m running multiple Furrion cams as well.

Hey Anthony, the Furrion 7-way adapter part # FR87PR might help with that issue but it was not designed for that problem so it's hard to say. You will need this adapter though to use your Furrion cameras so I would try it first and then let me know if you still have that issue and we can see what else we can try.
The trailer wiring of the newer GM trucks is pretty frustrating but generally it doesn't have the bulb out error with LED trailer lights like some vehicles do so that makes me think something else could be possibly going on.

Hello You will not get a bulb out error with the adapter. I have a side Maker led light out and it did not show it was out. I learned it was out by doing my pre trip checks. So etrailer will be getting some more of my money! ?? Hope this answers your question Thanks Alan

I never noticed a bulb out but I notice the LEDs are brighter than previously after the camera was added.

I use his as it corrects my connection to my travel trailer. Without it the connection would get listed

My cams work without the adapter. It just gives me the bulb out in the dash. I tried my older Furrion adapter from my 2019 Sierra and my new truck didn’t recognize it at all. Just says “connect trailer”. Maybe Part Number: C57003 will work for my trailers LED lights since my cam works without adapters?
