Weight Distribution Recommendation for F-350 Towing Campers

Question:
What W/D hitch would you recommend for this situation? I am in the business of transporting RVs, primarily 5th wheel and gooseneck units, but I am seeing a considerable increase of bumper pull business. Given my tow rig F350 with factory tow package including gooseneck hitch, and add on Goodyear air bags I have towed without the aid of a W/D setup, but sway is an issue especially when the trailer is pushing. I need something that is easily transferable for obvious reasons. Of course I have used the old big rig drivers trick of manually modulating trailer brake pressure but that can raise its own demons ask me how I know. BTW way, my hauler is stock height but I will still need at least 5inch . Given this short novel, what would you recommend? And yes, cost is a factor. Thank you in advance.

Hey Jim, based on all of the things you mentioned the Bulletproof Hitch WD system part # BPH46VR would be what I recommend. It has a tongue weight range that would work with what you'd most likely be towing, Is priced great, and uses bolt on frame hangers which would be on the easier side to transfer from one trailer to the next.
If you're fighting sway though best option is to see if you can move weight forward in the trailer to get more tongue weight as well as make sure the trailer is sitting level. How far are you usually transporting them?

Thank you for the response. I stay within the state so tow range is never more than 400 miles. The sway issue occurs with large units 8000# or more, primarily downhill on uneven pavement (we have a lot of that in Washington State). I am cognizant of tongue weight and loading. The coaches I transport are factory ready, ie: no additional added weight, ie: empty storage tanks, propane, personal effects, so I can't imagine T/W issues with new units. I did check togue weight one one in particular I was having an issue with, the coach weight was 9800# with a tongue weight of 1100#, I believe that is in the acceptable configuration. I will look at the hitch you recommended. Thanks again.
