Can the Husky Center Line 1,200 Lb Spring Bars Be Swapped Out for the 800 Lb Spring Bars

Question:
I have a new 2019 husky hitch ht32218 with 800 - 1200 spring bars. My trailer is 3900 lbs and with a load say under 5000 lbs. should I switch to the ht32330 spring bar rated at 600 to 800 lbs. can I even use the 600 to 800 bars?

Yes, the 600-800 lb spring bars (Replacement Spring Bar for Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System part # HT32330) will work with the Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System part # HT32218 and they will be much better suited for the weight of your trailer. If you were to use the 800-1,200 lb spring bars you have now you would likely experience a very harsh ride which could then result in more wear on the vehicle/trailer.
The great news is that the other set of spring bars you have now can still be kept and then reused with a heavier trailer in the future if the need arises.
