Head of Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System Hitting Trailer Frame with Washers Installed

Question:
i used all the washers to install the head but when i turn the head hits the A frame of the trailer and makes the trunions really tight almost impossible to move. husky customer service advised to use all washers for my size A frame but still hitting it. any suggestions? 2019 jayco jayflight xls

It sounds like you likely just need to remove a washer or two from the head of your Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System # HT32218. Installing all 4 washers is a good starting point for most trailers but many setups will require you to use less in order to prevent the types of issues you are having.
Try just removing one of the washers first to see if this loosens up the spring bars enough for normal operation and backs the head off so that it doesn't come into contact with the trailer frame. If not please let me know and I will be happy to look into this further.
