Question:
I have a Ram CA-5400SH-Z 14,000 lb capacity 2-5/16? ball size durable zinc finish include mounting holes for bolt on application that I am looking for a replacement. What do you recommend?

I would look at the Demco 50-Degree A-Frame Trailer Coupler w/ Jack Hole - eZ-Latch # DM13205-95. This matches your specs of the 2-5/16" ball, zinc finish for marine applications or just better corrosion resistance, and it has the pre-drilled bolt holes for a bolt-on installation rather than weld-on.
It also has the nice EZ-Latch which lets you drop the coupler on the ball without needing to lift up the latch, so it's completely hands-free until you go to disconnect, which you then just lift up on the latch.
