Updated 04/20/2026 | Published 04/13/2026

Question:

We are looking to sanitize both the lines and the fresh water tank. We have a 100 Gallon Fresh Water tank. Does this product specify how many packs to use per size of tank? ie: 1 packet per 20gal.

Hey Rebecca, thanks for reaching out. Your guess was actually spot on!

The Blu Technology Bleach-Free Liquid Sanitizer for RV Plumbing and Holding Tanks # GB77FR comes with two 0.5 oz packs and that is enough for approximately 40 gallons. So for your 100-gallon tank you'll need 5 packs to effectively sanitize the whole thing.
