Question:
Does this fit a 2025 BMW X3 M50? It seems many of the reviews/questions are for the earlier BMW chassis, not the new G45 chassis.

Hi Rob, great question.
I was able to confirm directly with Stealth Hitches that the part # SH59VR (Stealth part # SHR31022) is designed to fit the newer 2025 BMW X3, including the M50 xDrive on the G45 platform, so you can move forward with confidence that it’s the correct fit for your vehicle. I completely get wanting to be sure here, especially with BMW changing to the new G45 chassis and not wanting to go through a long install twice.
The confusion you’re seeing in the reviews is very real, since a lot of that feedback is tied to the previous generation X3, which makes it look like there isn’t clear support for the newer chassis. In this case though, the hitch has been updated to carry over to the new design, even if the older reviews haven’t caught up yet.
What really makes the Stealth Hitch stand out is how clean and factory-like it looks once it’s installed. When the receiver isn’t in use, everything is completely hidden behind the bumper, so you keep that sleek BMW styling without a visible hitch hanging down. Thanks Heather - ordered. I got the rack version, not the tow package.
