Question:
We have a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with a roll away tonneau cover. Of course it would be rolled up in order to use the tailgate pad, but we would like to have a 55” width if possible to clear in between the tonneau cover rails. Do you have what we are looking for? When pulling our new camper we thought this would be an awesome way to haul our two e-bikes. Hope you can help. P. S. I bought your bike rack a year or so ago for my suv and I love it!

Hey Nancy! I've got the 53" wide Thule GateMate Pro Tailgate Pad item # TH823PRO that will work. It's got the same features as the 8 Bikes item # TH824PRO but it's just a few inches short. The straps will install the same way beneath your Silverado's tailgate and they are long enough.
That's great to hear! Glad you're enjoying the Sport Rider SE2 bike rack.
What kind of e-bikes do you have?

Jared: Thank you so much for verifying the shorter length that will work for our vehicle. I will be placing the order today! The E-bikes we have are the Townie Go step thru type.
