Can Trailer Wiring of 2025 Ford Maverick be Installed in Reverse as Tow Bar Wiring

Could this part Curt part 56567 theoretically be used to wire the 2025 Ford Maverick XLT taillights for dinghy towing behind a motorhome to avoid splicing the OEM Maverick wiring? Would diodes still be needed along with the brake lite relay?

Hey Scott, this is a great question but trailer wiring can't be used in reverse as tow bar wiring as convenient as that would be. Only solution would be a diode kit like the part # RM-15267. Which I know these aren't fun to install but I did attach an install video to this page down below for you to check out that you can use as a guide for the install.
