Will Curt RVi Shadow 2 Braking System Work To Flat Tow 2023 Ford Maverick?

Will this work with my 2023 Ford Maverick? I don’t see it listed.

Great question, Jeremy. The Shadow 2 brake system # RVI94FR is compatible with many hybrids, and the 2023 Ford Maverick uses electric boost or regular vacuum boost brakes, both of which are compatible with the Shadow 2. The only reason a vehicle wouldn't work with this system is if it used the rare hydroboost brake booster that ties into the steering pump hydraulic lines.

Where do you plan on taking the Maverick for the next journey?

@Jerry That’s right, Jerry - the Shadow 2 ties straight in without extra adapters on your Maverick. Just the usual breakaway switch and umbilical hookup. Do you already have your base plate picked out yet?
