What Does Roadmaster Spare Carrier # RM-195125 Weigh

Question:
We have the Curt 2inch trailer hitch on our 2024 Toyota Sienna. Would this carrier plus a full size tire and wheel work for us? Weight OK? We need to be able to access the back of the van.

Hey Kit, the Roadmaster Spare Tire Mount # RM-195125 that you referenced weighs 40 lb. I'm not sure what the weight of your spare would be but I can't imagine it's that much and this should work great. This can fold down to the side to give you access to the rear of the vehicle like you are looking for. Does your Sienna normally store the spare under the vehicle?

Our Sienna doesn't have a spare. When it is equipped with a compact spare, it's inside in a compartment on the side in back. We only have the inflation kit and are planning a cross-country trip so we wanted more.
