Question:

I have a R3 recurve WDH. The shank going into the vehicle is 2. My hitch opening is 2.5. Do the make a 2.5 l bracket that fit the this hitch, or do i need to but the 2.5 to 2.o adapter?

Hey Samuel! The R3 Recurve uses an industry standard shank so you can swap it out for one that will fit your 2-1/2" receiver. You can choose from the following based on the rise/drop you need:

-Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank - 2-1/2" Hitch - 7" Rise, 3" Drop # EQ90-02-4700

-Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank - 2-1/2" Hitch - 8" Rise, 4" Drop # EQ90-02-4800

-Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank - 2-1/2" Hitch - 10" Rise/6" Drop # EQ90-02-4900

-Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Shank - 12" Long - 13" Rise, 9" Drop # EQ94FR

It is acceptable to use a reducer sleeve like the # BPH75YR you looked at as well. I prefer swapping out the shank so you have less parts involved and a nice, solid connection.
