How do Bike Frame Adapter Bars Allow Womens Bike to Attach to Hanging Bike Rack

Question:

I needndirections how to fasten my bike on the thule rack hitch on my car I have the bar for women bike and I need to see how the straps go on the bike and to keep it from moving I had a reese hitch mounted so this would be safe I am going on a long trip tomarrow please advise.

Using an adapter bar like the part # UB01 will help you load a womens bike onto a hanging bike rack. The adapter connects to the steering stem and to the seat post providing a horizontal attachment point for the bike rack to attach to. If you check out the review video for this adapter that I attached below you'll see how this is done. Basically once the adapter is on the bike it takes the place of the top tube of a bike when attaching it to a bike rack.

I also attached a picture that shows how the adapter used on a hanging bike rack as well.
