Hey Steve, RV AC units are designed to be powered by AC power and not DC like what a battery like what part # RS74VR provides but if you have a power panel in your RV it will have AC power circuits and it will be wired up so that the panel can draw power from the battery. Does your RV have an AC unit it currently?

@Steve I should have been more specific. I mean to ask does your RV have an AC powered AC unit currently or a DC powered unit?

@Steve I'd go with the Chill Cube for something much quieter then.

Steve, some RV’s have large inverters that convert dc battery power to ac power which is required to run a AC unit. if your rv has an inverter large enough to handle the load of an ac unit and is wired that way, it can run the ac unit provided you have a large bank of batteries to run it. AC units draw a lot of power.
