Question:
I have a 2002 Toyota Highlander and Im interested in the OEM factory towing wiring harness Curt code C55245. My factory wiring connector is quite differant than the picture. Its a rectangle connector not a square one. I took a picture of the connection, please advise. Thx.

Your photo did not come through to us with your question, but we appreciate that effort! The Curt Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring Kit you referenced, part # C55245, is intended for vehicles that have the factory tow package installed. The connector that mates to the OEM wiring on your Highlander is indeed a 4-pin square type as you note. This connector is typically found at the rear underside of the vehicle.
It may be that your truck has been modified (or that Toyota made a running change) but both OEM type harnesses we offer have this same connector.
You still can install a 4-pole trailer wiring harness easily enough by using one of the available custom-fit harnesses we offer, both of which can be seen on the link provided. Tow Ready # 118413 simply plugs in at your Highlander's tail light assemblies and requires only a single ground wire to be connected to a clean bare-metal surface (or to an existing grounding point).
The linked installation video shows this harness in use on a 2003 Highlander.
