Can the hitch be ordered with the necessary wiring needed to connect trailer wiring to the vehicle and does the grand highlander have plug and play connectors?

Yes, we have the wiring harness and you can order it in addition to the item # C26VV hitch for your 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander. Whether you have the plug and play connectors will depend on if your Highlander has the towing package. If you have the tow package you will need the Curt item # C55245.

If your Grand Highlander does not have the tow package then there is no plug and play option and you'll need to use the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter item # C59236.

The easiest way to determine whether or not you have the tow package is to call a Toyota dealer and give them your VIN. If you don't want to do that then you'll need to climb under the rear of your Highlander and look for a large black box on the driver's side behind the rear wheel. Inside this black box will be a port you can plug item # C55245 into.
