Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. Connector plugs directly into OEM tow package port - no cutting, splicing or tapping required.

Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plug on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Harness itself is extremely high quality as well as the connector for it. I only gave it 4 stars because it is about 1 foot longer than it really needs to be for the car. Not s big deal but since it’s vehicle specific I’d like it to be a little shorter to fit the application better. Overall I’d recommend though, it’s high quality and works great!
Straightforward install. Just pop the plug cover on the vehicle connector, plug the trailer connector and you're good to go.
The wiring harness was a good thing ,easy to install came the instructions it just plugged right in, zip tie it and was done thank you
Very fast shipping exactly what I was looking for easy instill took 10 min but would have taking 5 min if I got the bracket for the 4 pin to mount but I didn't had to reuse the old one will and already recommend etrailer.com to friends

Replacement for my 2002 4Runner. After 20 yrs and a splice you’d have to imagine there would be some degradation to the OEM harness. The OEM harness had gotten pretty finicky. This was a direct plug and play kit. It plugs in near the driver’s rear corner, route it, a few zip ties and everything is G2G.
It didn’t fit my vehicle, 2010 Lexus LX 570 even after research on forums and looking for the connector on the passenger side.
Trailer hitch and wiring harness I ordered for my 2002 Highlander fit and worked perfectly.lt came in perfect condition in only 3 days.

The products I ordered arrived on time and as expected. I have not had time yet to install them. the video's are very helpful and shoe me what to expect during installation.
Took about 2 minutes to install everything. This is the wiring harness to use for 03 highlander with towing converter package. Connection wire that harnesshooks up to is inside the black compartment under side of the vehicle. You will need to install the 20 Amp fuse in the fuse box in the engine compartment. Everything comes with the harness kit.
Extremely easy to install, even came with a fuse for the trailer lights!

Ordered on Saturday, shipped on Saturday and arrived on Wednesday. The hitch and wire harness were easy to install - from start to finish took a little over 1 hour. All holes lined up with no adjustments. Looks Great!
ok so i plugged connctor in and attached to trailer and no lights. so i checked both fuse boxes and they are ok. whats next?

The harness is intended for vehicles equipped with the factory tow package. If you don't have the tow package, the harness might not work. What's the year/make/model of your vehicle?

Doesn’t fit the 2011 LX 570 but is of good quality.
This fits if you do or do not have a tow package. However, if you do not have a tow package you will need a plug in converter box for your year Toyota.
It was very easy to plug into the towing port and secure the receiving end to the hitch
Wow! What a great experience dealing with etrailer.com. I received the hitch and wiring harness and it took longer to pull the staples out of the box than it did to install all of the parts. It is all in now and waiting to hook up the boat trailer and do some fishing. I can't say enough as to how pleased I am. If backing up the trailer goes as well as the installation, I will be grinning for the rest of my life.

Exactly what I needed for my 2002 Land Cruiser that didn’t have the factory tow package. Was a direct plug and play and works flawlessly.
Perfect fit. Just wish there would have been notes about checking for a trailer light control module that was needed. Even if you have a trailer package
The harness plugged right in but has no power. I verified that the vehicle has the factory towing module. I will check for power at the fuse and start a diagnostic test on the system this weekend
The harness is not wired correctly. The harness plugs into the car as it should but the lights on a trailer don't work correctly. I called and they sent me a replacement but it too was exactly like the first one even after they checked to be sure it is the correct one for the car. I tested the trailer on a different vehicle and the trailer worked correctly.
Incorrect pinout for a 2026 Lexus TX350 with the factory towing package. The plug fits onto the factory plug, but the pin order was wrong. Had to pay the Lexus dealer to diagnose and fix.
