Recommended Hitch for a 2019 Honda Civic

Hi, my name is Gerald and I live in Canada. I came across your videos and I am very interested in installing a 2-bike rack on my 2019 Honda Civic. I’m a bit confused about whether I should buy only the bike rack or if I also need to buy a hitch. I’m not very familiar with this, so could someone please guide me?

Hey Gerald! The bike rack and the hitches are going to be purchased separately as they are two completely different parts. The Destination Bike Rack item # HLY94FR you were looking at, is going to be a great option for your Civic. It fits in both 1-1/4" and 2" hitch receivers, which is really helpful for smaller cars like yours.
If you don't already have a hitch installed on your 2019 Honda Civic, I recommend our etrailer item # e46ZV. This hitch is custom fit and works with the coup, hatchback, and sedan models so long as you do not have the center exhaust.
