Will Demco Recon for Recessed Ball Fit Standard Gooseneck Hitch

I have two trucks - one is a 2026 Ford F350 that has a standard truck bed with a non-recessed gooseneck ball, and the other is a 2026 Ford F350 flatbed with a recessed gooseneck ball. Will this hitch that is designed for a recessed ball also work with my truck that has a standard bed with a non-recessed ball also? Or would I need to purchase two separate Recon hitch types?

Hey Tony! The Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter for Recessed Ball # DM93YV will only fit your 2026 F-350 flatbed. It will not fit the standard gooseneck ball on your other 2026 F-350. What you can do is pick up the Replacement Base Assembly for Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM6201 and swap the head back and forth as needed.
