Hello, Im trying to replace the air conditioning unit on my travel trailer and was curious about whether I have to replace it with the same size btu or can I increase it?

Hey Isreal! You can definitely upgrade your AC to a higher btu when you replace it. If you're wanting a GE like the # GE52ZR you were looking at the 15k btu model is the # GE85ZR. This includes a heat pump and is designed for ducted setups.
If you want my recommendation it would be the Furrion Chill Cube # FR99TD or # FR59TQ (with heat pump). The Chill Cube is incredibly efficient, quiet, and has an 18k capacity. In some cases going to such a large capacity would be overkill, but the Chill Cube works well with any trailer size because of the variable speed compressor. The AC is operated via the remote which also acts as the thermostat, and also has controls on the ADB.
