Question:
I have a 2022 brookstone Coachman with a Coleman Mach 15,000 BTU units on my main room. Do I have to replace the ceiling unit as well or will the furion with a small adapter kit work with my Coleman Mach ceiling mount?

Hey Andrew, welcome back! To replace your Coleman Mach 15,000 Btu AC unit you'll need the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup item # FR32PV. This is the only compatible 15,000 Btu AC we have left that is going to work with your Coleman Mach air distribution box. It comes with the adapter you'll need too.
Please note that none of the newer units like the Furrion item # FR86TD you were looking at, are compatible with the older models because of the refrigerant change at the beginning of 2025. None of the parts work together even with an adapter. Your Coleman Mach has the obsolete R410A refrigerant and the Furrion item # FR86TD has the new R32 refrigerant, which is EPA mandated.
Are you interested in replacing your entire Coleman Mach setup or are you just wanting to swap out the AC unit?

Just want to swap out the A/C unit as it's low on Freon and not worth fixing, plus I'm on a budget as I just spurged on a 12,000watt EG4 solar inverter and batteries. So the # FR32PV will work plus the adapter kit? Also does the # FR32PV have the same efficiency savings and 30degree temp drop as the # FR86TD unit over the Coleman Mach? Thank you. Andrew
