Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, let's take a quick look at this Coleman-Mach signature Mach 15 15,000 BTU RV air conditioner in this textured black cover. Now at 15,000 BTU, this is going to give you about 10 to 12% more cooling power than a 13,500 BTU unit, so this is gonna be helpful in larger RVs that are, like, 30 to, 30 feet and, 30 feet and longer, so RVs or campers with slide outs or, or units like that, so this is gonna be great on those hot and humid climates where extra capacity is going to keep your RV or camper a whole lot more comfortable. As you probably know, Coleman has been making RV air conditioning for quite some time and this Mach line has a reputation for being both reliable and durable. The signature series or the signature model is basically the, the more premium version, so they've kind of beefed up some of the components and they've added some extra efficiency to help it run smoother and last longer. Now looking at some measurements here, the overall length from end to end, we're roughly at 39 inches long, the overall width is about 26 inches wide, and this is considered a, a mid or medium profile height unit, so the height is gonna be about 13 and a half inches tall. This is going to fit over your standard opening on your RV roof, so 14 and a quarter inches by 14 and a quarter inches, this weighs about 85 pounds or so.

So this is the rooftop AC only, it will be compatible with your ducted or ductless systems, so that interior assembly is what's going to determine whether the cooled air gets distributed through the vents, such as a ducted system in your RV or camper, or that air just plunges down straight into the room that you have this installed above, so that would be your non inducted system. So you're gonna pair this with a compatible Coleman Mach air distribution box and a thermostat if needed to complete your cooling setup. I do wanna point out that this is not going to be backwards compatible with an air distribution box or a thermostat or any AC system from 2024 and earlier due to the new R32 refrigerant that this unit uses that meets the 2025 EPA regulations, so anything that you get, the air distribution box or the thermostat, any component would have to be compliant with the, or compatible with the R32 refrigerant. So the, the Mach signature series, this is designed with a rugged case and, and heavy duty construction, so I think it's gonna be able to handle years of use without the usual wear and tear issues, and the, the textured black cover here, it, it's not just about looks, it's gonna resist fading, I think it's gonna do a great job of resisting scuffs and dirt, so I think it, it's going to keep a cleaner appearance over time.

It's not as rigid as other covers, it's a little more pliable, a little more flexible, so I think it's more impact resistant, I don't think it's going to immediately crack or fracture on impact, so that's a plus, I haven't really seen a cover like that on an air conditioner before. I do wanna show you the plug here, the wiring harness, bring that up there for you real quick. So it's overall, it's gonna be a pretty simple installation. So for a unit this powerful, Coleman does a pretty nice job of keeping the noise down. I wouldn't call it whisper quiet but compared to older models or budget brands, it's going to be noticeably less disruptive, so you're gonna be able to sleep without any issues, you're gonna be able to relax or watch a movie without having to shout over the ac.
