Hey there Kevin, if you’re trying to avoid trimming or adding filler panels, matching orientation is the safest move, and it really comes down to checking the cutout size or the model converter you currently have.

If your current panel is vertical (taller than wide), the # WFC72GR 40A is a common size, fitting a cutout of 7 13/16" Wide x 11 5/16" tall x 7 3/8" deep.

If it’s more standard horizontal setup (wider than tall), then the # WF86FR 55A is a common size, fitting a cutout of 12-3/16" wide x 11" tall.

The key is measuring the rough opening before ordering. Most people prefer minimal modification, so choosing the closest match dimensionally is usually the best route. If you are fine with trimming or you are planning to fill in the hole anyways, then it comes down to what you like most and what amperage is best for your loads.

What converter did you have in there before and what's the DC charger output rated at in amps?

@Kevin Ok nice, that is just a tad smaller than the options above, so you'll need to trim and open the cutout a bit more. That's better than trying to fill a gap though, at least in my opinion.
