Question:
I currently have a 2019 Jayco jay flight 24 ft travel trailer. It has the model WF - 8735P converter in it. I am installing 200 amp hour lithium batteries. Im wondering if this converter will charge the batterys fully or do I need to replace it.

Expert Reply:
Hey Suzanne, the version of the 8735 converter you have does not have a Lithium mode so it would not charge the batteries you have. Instead what you would want is the updated version that is Lithium compatible with the part # WF96FR. This has an auto detect feature that will automatically switch to lithium mode.
