Question:
I have a Honda odyssey 2017 that I am modifying to pull a camper. I will need a 7 pole wiring harness, but after I input all of the info into your website the only options it shows are 4-pole wiring harnesses. Are there no 7-pole wiring harnesses etrailer sells that would work in my 2017 honda odyssey? Thanks for your time!

Hey Ben! We do have a 7-way that will fit your 2017 Honda Odyssey. You will still need to pick up a 4-way, I recommend the Curt # C56378. Then you can upgrade it to a 7-way using the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. This comes with the adapter, wiring, breakers, and everything else you need to add a 7-way to your vehicle.
Are you towing a camper with brakes? Assuming you are, you will also need a brake controller. I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED52VR. It is simple, reliable, and won't take up extra space in the cab. The control knob mounts anywhere on the dash, giving it an OEM look. The knob controls the braking power and acts as the manual override.
Where are you headed once you get the Odyssey all set up?

Robin! Thank you for your helpful information! I got the drawtight hitch installed this past weekend, and of course I ran into a few small issues that required some creativity to solve, but in the end I got it all set up and torqued to spec! I am based in NC so will be doing some simple camping with the family around the Uwharries, and falls of the neuse! I have a transmission cooler I will be installing next, and then I will tackle the wiring! Thanks again for your help! Ben
