Will Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Shank Fit Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution Hitch

Question:
Hello, I have a Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - 11,500 lbs GTW, 1,150 lbs TW and want to get a 2.5inch shank. Will the equal-i-zer work with this WDH or does Reese make one specific to their hitch? I need something around 9inch . I am towing a trailer with approx 750 lbs TW and 7000 lbs.

Hey Joe, welcome back! Your Reese system does use a standard weight distribution shank. Since Equal-i-zer does as well, the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Shank # EQ94FR is compatible with your hitch. It has a 9" drop and a max tongue/towing weight of 1,600/16,000 lbs.

Thanks for the info (confirmation)! I thought it would work and actually ordered it yesterday. So far 1 short trip with the rack. I like it!
