Question:
Hello, travel trailer 26 ft 5800 lb dry, 6800lb +/- loaded. Toe vehicle, 2016 ford f-150 3.5 ecoboost, max tow. Needing weight distribution hitch. Would the 4 point be better than my current e2 wdh 100lb bars? If so, which one 8000lb or 10,000 lb.thanks.

If you've been less than satisfied with the sway control performance of your e2 weight distribution system, you'd be very happy with the upgrade in performance you'd see by using a 4 point system like Equal-i-zer or the Curt TruTrack. A 4 point system provides sway resistance at 4 locations, where the spring bars contact the trailer frame brackets and at the points where the spring bars connect to the height head, where a 2 point system only provides the resistance at the two points where the spring bars sit on the trailer frame brackets. There is a noticeable difference.
A trailer's tongue weight is typically 10-15% of its fully loaded weight. With a 6800 lb loaded weight, your tongue weight very likely sits between 700-1000 lbs. You can confirm this for sure using a tongue weight scale like the etrailer # e99044 or by using one of the methods mentioned in the help article I've linked for you.
If you find that your loaded tongue weight falls in the 800-1200 lb range, the Equal-i-zer # EQ37120ET would be absolutely perfect. The 2-5/16 inch hitch ball is included.
The TruTrack by Curt is a less expensive option. If your loaded tongue weight is above 1000 lbs, use
# C17501 and if it's between 800-1000, use # C17500. The hitch ball is also included with these systems.
Which system to choose? I'd personally choose the Equal-i-zer. Weight distribution systems are Equal-i-zer's core business and has been for years, while Curt is newer to the weight distribution arena, and weight distribution is just a small part of their overall product offerings. Equal-i-zer products are super-high quality, very durable and are manufactured in the USA. Replacement parts are readily available . Both systems offer a good warranty, but the Equal-i-zer's limited lifetime warranty is superior to the 10 year limited warranty offered by the TruTrack.
I've linked to some product demonstration videos for both the Equal-i-zer and the TruTrack systems.
