Can Furrion Chill Cube AC Unit Be Used On RV With No Air Distribution Box In Ceiling?

We have a ducted A/C without ceiling access, what would we need to make the chillcube work in here?

Hey Michael, the Furrion Chill Cube # FR49TD requires the included Air Distribution Box to operate. So you would need to modify your ceiling in order to fit this or any other complete system in your travel trailer.

Now if you can find the exact replacement for your current system, then you won't have to modify the roof/ceiling. Can you tell me what system you currently have and I will see what options are out there?

I have the same setup in my 2017 heartland bighorn and I’m trying to replace the dometic ac but the mounting holes for the Furrion are totally different. Do the make a mounting bracket to be able to use the same holes to mount the Furrion chill cube

@JeffC Hey Jeff, you'd need to either buy another Dometic unit like that (we don't carry anymore unfortunately) or you'll need to fill in the holes on the roof when installing a new complete ac system.
