Hey Matt, I would highly recommend the Hydrastar Marine electric over hydraulic actuator part # HS481-8067 for your boat trailer. We have found that the Hydrastar actuators are the most reliable and best performing so it's always what I recommend. This kit also comes with the other electric components needed to wire in the actuator as well as wire in a 7-way. What made you want to convert the trailer to EOH?

I added the Hydrastar 1600PSI 4 disk unit to my boat trailer. This one addition took my trailer trip pulling a 31 foot boat from White Knuckle to enjoyable. The surge brake before would give the tow rig a "Shove" before any brakes and I hated that. The added bonus is that when you BACK down the ramp, you still have trailer brake assist over a surge brake. This is piece of mind since my wife backs me in 90% of the time. I know I am giving her the wheel with the best chances of NOT making a splash at the ramp. Bottom line, worth every penny and it has been in use for 2.5 years.
