Hey Dave, the Watchdog Surge Protector Voltage Booster 30A # HU84ZR is built for full-time use at the pedestal and is considered weather resistant. The housing of it is weather-resistant, and lots of campers leave them in place all season. Just make sure it’s upright on its legs, and not sitting in standing water. Some folks even use a rain cover to have extra protection. Are you in a pretty wet climate?

Yes, it is weather resistant. We did place it on a cement block in case of standing water, but other than that it was out in the elements all summer with no issues.
