Question:
Searching to buy a power watchdog for my 50am travel trailer. Need to know difference between the hu47fr, hu87fr and the hu62vr? Not sure which one we should get? Def. want the one with the er shut off. We have a grand design transcend 36 trailer.

Hey Chrystal! The Power Watchdog Surge Protector # HU47FR lacks the emergency shut down so we can rule that one out. The # HU87FR and # HU62VR both have the emergency shut down so the main difference is how they are monitored.
If you're fine with Bluetooth only then you want to get the # HU87FR. This also has a higher energy dissipation at 6,100 joules. If you want to be able to monitor this outside of the range of Bluetooth and you have Wi-Fi available at the trailer then the # HU62VR is the better choice.
Any big plans with your Grand Design Transcend this summer?

Hey Chrystal, did you decide to go with the Power Watchdog that has Bluetooth or the one with both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for your Grand Design Transcend? I'd love to know which option worked best for you, as it could help others in a similar situation.
