Hey Brad, since your 2024 Chevy Silverado is a gas engine and not a diesel you would not need a heat shield with the RockTamers part # ERT00110. It's really only the diesel models that put out hot enough exhaust to require the heat shield # RT76FR. Are you wanting to protect a trailer?

I have a Ford F250 Platinum with a diesel engine and do not need a heat shield. Not sure how that will help your situation, but that’s all I got!

I need the heat shield with my Duramax Diesel and the location of factory exhaust.It was easy to install and I'm glad I have it on the flap.Pulling our Airstream I'm glad it's there.

They are a great product. I purchased the 2.5" rock tamers and also a B&W hitch. I installed them and leave them on permanently. I use them to pull my race trailer and my boat.

The Rock Tamers fit and work great. I have a 2022 Chevy 2500 gas, I didn’t want to take any chances with the exhaust so I took my truck to a local muffler shop and had them turn the exhaust pipe so the exhaust now goes curb side.
