Hey Kevin,

The short answer is yes, you can install a front hitch on a 2023 Ford F-150 XLT. However, you will have to remove the auto deploying air dam and do some minor fascia trimming to install one. Other than that, it's a simple bolt-on installation. I recommend the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31083. It will give you enough capacity to use it in a bunch of different ways.

What are you looking to use it for?

@KevinM gotcha, if you have heavier boats you're needing to move that the Curt hitch doesn't quite have the capacity for, then check out the EcoHitch Hidden Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH87SR. Install will be pretty similar but you'll get the bump in capacity to handle basically any boat trailer. Let us know if you ever have any other questions!

@KevinM. I used it mondsy on 6 inches of heavy wet snow with my snowbear plow. Works great. On my truck i had to remove the automatic drop down spoiler. They are useless and problematic any way

I installed one and it’s the best thing I ever did for my e-bike it keeps it out of the mud and dust from being in front of my truck not behind it also helps when I put my boat in my storage barn. It

I installed one on my 2015 F150 with no problem at all. I did have to cut a portion of the air dam out so that the 2-in receiver could extend through it. Was not a big deal I just use some tin snips and cut out a square after I marked it off. I believe it's probably just four bolts the hardest part is fishing the bolts into the frame but take your time and be patient. Kurt is a good company to deal with. I had an issue and they immediately replaced everything. Hope this helps. Make sure you have a helper with you
