This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver gives your vehicle light-duty towing capability. It’s rated for 2,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 200 lbs tongue weight, making it a solid match for small trailers, lightweight campers, or a couple of bikes on a rack. The 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver opening accepts most Class I accessories, so you can easily attach a cargo carrier or drawbar when you need extra hauling space.
The hitch uses precision robotic welding for tight alignment and maximum strength. A gloss black powder coat is layered over a rust-resistant Bonderite base to protect against corrosion and road grime. The square-tube design adds stability while keeping the cross tube visible but neat under the bumper. It’s built to handle regular use without flexing or rusting out over time.
This hitch is engineered for a vehicle-specific fit and installs using existing frame points—no welding required. The included complete hardware kit makes it possible to mount the hitch in the driveway using basic tools. Once in place, the open-back receiver design makes cleaning out dirt or debris easy after towing or off-season storage.
Every Curt Class I hitch is tested to meet SAE J684 standards for safety and reliability. That means its 2,000-lb GTW and 200-lb TW ratings aren’t just estimates—they’ve been verified through rigorous strength and fatigue testing. Little bit of work to put it in but just fine for what I need it for.
I believe this is the fourth hitch I purchased from etrailer, a front for my truck, two for different Subarus, and one for a Toyota. They are not the easiest process to do, but for installing a hitch, they make it about as easy as possible. I have been happy with all four hitches and am considering one for my `95 Integra so I can haul my bike.
This organization has the process dialed in, if you want a hitch, these guys are the place.

Update - Love my hitches, but I am disappointed that I attempted to purchase a hitch for my 1995 Integra, but was told the manufacturer would not make one after I waited some time for it to ship. :
The hitch fit perfectly and wasn't too difficult to install. It's a very high quality piece. Very satisfied with my purchase.
Good welding, correct specs, great price. Saved me hundreds from going to a service center. Takes a bit of skill and time to install since you will be drilling into the frame and fishing in bolts, but the instructions are clear.
I’m happy with it, great quality, all pieces came complete. Heavy duty. Recommended for sure.
The trailer hitch receiver works great! It keeps my Kuat bicycle rack firmly in place. I never worry about my bicycle rack falling off the back of my car. That actually happened to me once. So, thanks for a good product and thanks for asking after I have had it for a while!
Works well. Simple install. My car had the plastic underbody paneling which does not have sufficient clearance to reinstall with the receiver in place even after loosening the receiver as far as it would go so I just left it off. 2024 SE
I'm somewhat handy working on a car and this was a straight forward install. Drilling 2 holes into the frame was straight forward as well. I suggest to anyone that is going to drop their exhaust to buy a ~$[XX] specific tool for removing and reinstalling the exhaust hangers.
Not compatible with all 2024 Toyota Corolla models. Does not fit AWD hybrid versions due to underbody components. Hitch seems well-made, but I couldn’t install it, despite the website listing my car make/model as a fit.

I had this trailer hitch professionally installed and use two bike 1 up rack on it. I honestly love it. I have had no issues! I would buy tbis trailer hitch again when I get a new corrolla.

It fits the car but the underpanel requires more trimming than the instructions indicate and you have to reinstall it before you bolt the hitch up. Other than that, straightforward installation.
As always Etrailer is a fantastic company to work with.
A very well designed receiver by Curt, but that is to be expected. Dealing with etrailer was awesome. Shipping was fast and the receiver arrived two days ahead of the initial estimate. The video instructions did an excellent job of thoroughly explaining the process. I added one alternate step to the process since I don’t have a lift, and was working in my garage with the rear of the vehicle on ramps…In order to have room to drill the frame hole on the passenger side, I chose to remove the muffler completely by removing two bolts that join the last piece of tailpipe / muffler near the rear suspension. This allowed me room to get my drill with a hole saw in the chuck up to a vertical position to easily drill that hole. Other than that, the install was a breeze, and the video from etrailer was far superior to the written instructions from the manufacturer. The product itself is great, but the sales and service from eTrailer made this purchase / install a great experience. Thanks so much for being a world class organization!
It hasn't been installed yet but I've purchased 2 other etrailer hitches so I have no concern that this one will also be a quality product and that the installation information will be accuratge.
works and fit perfect! instructions were good and the tooling supplied made the install a lot easier. I'm only using this for a bike rack, but it works perfect.

After a year it still working exactly the same. It’s a trailer hitch with no moving parts…
The Trailer Hitch came on time without a hitch! All the parts are here and the hitch is undamaged. I will install it Monday. Great service from William B and Trevor W they where on it! It's all on me now. Not to worry about the Trailer hitch trying to escape from the box it is a big metal mass going through several hands no need to be a punk about a damaged box. I am very happy.

I have only used the hitch twice in a years time. Once for my move from Arizona to California, and once to pick up Solar Panels. It has been a great to have the hitch since i dont own a truck. I can carry all the things I need by renting a U-haul trailer and picking up what I need. The Hitch has been great for that, dont have to rent a truck or borrow a truck. Thanks eTrailer.com
This was my second hitch receiver from etrailer. Great product. Once installed on a 2026 Toyota Corolla Hybrid, it worked great. Installing it was a pain but that is because my older Corolla had pre-drilled threaded holes. The 2026 doesn’t. Buy a step bit to drill not a sawhole bit which I broke 2 just starting. I had to use a small grinder wheel on a dremmel to round out the hole. Etrailer products are awesome. I highly recommend them to everyone.
